Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Storm Authority ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website or request our services. We are a Florida-licensed roofing contractor (License #CCC1337646) serving Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando counties.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out our contact form, request a quote, or call or text us, we collect the information you choose to share. This typically includes your name, phone number, email address, the service you're interested in, and any details you provide about your project.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers may log basic information when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is standard for hosting platforms and is not tied to your identity unless you submit a form.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our site. Google Analytics collects information about your visit such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, the referring website, and approximate geographic location (city and country level, not precise location). This data is reported to us in aggregate and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to track usage across sessions.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by configuring your browser to block third-party cookies. Google's handling of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry, provide quotes, and schedule inspections
  • Coordinate service appointments and communicate about active jobs
  • Send follow-up information you have asked for
  • Improve our customer service and the quality of our work
  • Meet our legal and contractual obligations

We do not use your information for unrelated marketing.

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only in these limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us run our business (for example, an email or scheduling provider). They are bound to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers.
  • In connection with a business transfer (such as a sale or merger), in which case we will notify you and continue to honor this policy.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including secure transmission of form data over HTTPS and limited internal access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adult homeowners and business property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements for completed work)
  • Opt out of future communications

Florida residents and visitors from other states with similar privacy laws can exercise these rights by contacting us using the information below.

Third-party links

Our site links to external resources (for example, state agency pages on the Resources page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any site you visit from ours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you, such as by posting a notice on this page.
